Volunteers are an essential part of the Museum’s incredible educational experience.

Volunteers enrich everyone’s experience by:

  • Greeting guests and conducting tours
  • Working with students in our educational programs
  • Building models in our workshop
  • Serving on our Board
  • Serving on Fundraising Committees and at Membership Events
  • and so much more!

Eligibility and Skills


We are looking for personable, outgoing people of all ages and cultures who:

  • Professionally represent the Museum and support our mission objectives
  • Possess excellent communications skills
  • Work with diverse groups of children, adults, staff and volunteers
  • Commitment to attend all required training
  • Accept supervision and evaluation of your volunteer work
