The generous support of donors, sponsors, and members make it possible for us to share the experiences and the stories of aviation and space flight – from the Wright Flyer to the one-of-a-kind Flying Pancake; the Apollo VII spacecraft, 20 historical galleries, and over 35,000 artifacts; the Living History program and our acclaimed STEM education program. Ours is the perfect place to explore the history and progress of aviation as mankind continues to pursue going higher, faster and farther.
We're in this together.
We need you.
As a private nonprofit, the Frontiers of Flight Museum depends solely on admission revenue, donations and rental income. Your support allows us to:
- Inspire future generations through compelling exhibitions that engage, educate, and inspire thousands of annual visitors.
- Present free programming highlighting living aviation and space pioneers.
- Motivate young people to learn through hands-on, multi-exposure STEM programs and consider aviation and space exploration as viable careers.
- Preserve historic aviation treasures and space artifacts.
- Continue to be the premier aviation and space history repository in North Texas.
The Frontiers of Flight Museum, like so many other organizations, has not escaped the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic downturn it has caused. The financial impact of the closure and the immediate loss of all operating revenue has been staggering. The Museum is aggressively pursuing operational grants from foundations, corporations and governmental agencies but to fill this immediate operating income deficit we need the support from individuals like you, who have supported us in the past, understand our mission to educate, motivate and inspire our next generation, and who want to see us continue that mission.
STEM EDUCATION INITIATIVE
As a pioneer in STEM-education delivery, with direct application in the fields of aviation, space exploration and science, the Frontiers of Flight Museum is pleased to announce the establishment of a STEM Education Institute to expand its already impress outreach to 45,000 North Texas students.
