"Exploring Mars with Perseverance: Seeking Signs of Ancient Life on Mars"
NASA JPL's - Steven Lee

Steve works at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA as the Deputy Project Manager for the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover and Ingenuity Helicopter. Previously, he served as the Flight System Manager for the Mars Sample Return Lander, Flight System Manager for the Europa Lander pre-project, Deputy Project Manager for the Curiosity Mars Science Laboratory, and various leadership roles on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Hubble Space Telescope, International Space Station, and Space Shuttle projects at JPL, Lockheed-Martin, and Honeywell. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Minnesota and a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida.
