John Miller

2020 Luckadoo Lecture Series Speaker

Lt. Cmdr John Miller, USN (Ret)

Buckle up for the ride of a lifetime with former Blue Angel pilot, LCDR John Miller, USN. Flying inverted, inches apart, at speeds in excess of 300 mph required unwavering trust, unmatched teamwork, and nerves of steel. From 1976-1978, Miller wowed crowds and inspired future aviators as one of the team’s elite lead/opposing solo pilots.

Join Miller as he tells the incredible story of how the Blue Angels rose from the ashes of WWII into today’s premier military flight demonstration team. Miller currently lives in Dallas and is a prominent member of the DFW Tailhookers, the organization that played an integral role in the Museum’s acquisition of EA-6B “Prowler” BuNo 162228 in 2019.
