Mission Control is hard at work, putting together a program of astronauts, avid aviators, rocket and spacecraft companies, and congressional legislative members to celebrate the Frontiers of Flight Museum’s 2013 Gala on April 27, 2013 and honor our very own Congressman Ralph Hall.

Congressman Hall, who serves the 4th District of Texas, will be presented with the coveted George E. Haddaway Award for Achievement in Aviation in recognition of his dedicated advocacy of science, space and aviation as a member and Chairman of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology of the U.S. House of Representatives. His incredible legacy will be represented in a short documentary created especially for the event.

We will be welcoming Congressman Lamar Smith, the newly appointed Chairman of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, and our guest astronauts, including Walt Cunningham, Alan Bean, Gene Cernan, Eileen Collins, Fred Haise, Tom Henricks, Mike Lopez-Alegria, Jim Lovell and Mary Ellen Weber.

Col. Walter Cunningham, the pilot on the Apollo 7 Mission, and his wife, Dot Cunningham, are the Honorary Chairs for the 2013 Gala.

Our five levels of 2013 Gala Sponsorships recognize the incredible accomplishments of U.S. crewed space missions from the early Mercury, Gemini and Apollo Missions to the Space Shuttle and current Mars Rover Mission. Join us at the $10,000 to $75,000 levels and be our guest at the private Blast Off VIP reception with Congressmen Hall and Smith, legislative representatives and our guest astronauts. The Mercury and Gemini Missions levels include a Corporate Membership, with exclusive year-round benefits.
