The Frontiers of Flight Museum is a proud participant of
Blue Star Museums
offering military families free admission
from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Blue Star Museums throughout the country offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense since 2010.

Come see our newest Gallery—the SR-71 Gallery, anchored by the world’s only simulator built for this remarkable spy plane.  Additional artifacts in the Gallery include a huge J58 jet engine that powered the aircraft, a pressure suit and other aircrew equipment items, and the only SR-71 cockpit canopy you can sit under to get a pilot’s perspective.

Visit “Earth Science Rocks!”—our Earth Science exhibit on the mezzanine level, featuring fascinating images of Earth from satellites over the last 50 years, and the interactive and educational Geochron ® display in real time of the Sun’s illumination of the Earth’s surface.

Check out all the exciting activities we offer in the summer – such as Moon Day (July), Spirit of 45 (August) and our popular Aviation & Space Camp (all summer).

We sincerely thank you for your service and hope that you will
be our guest between Memorial Day and Labor Day!

Museum hours: Monday – Saturday, 10AM – 5PM; Sunday, 1PM – 5PM
